Trenchless Sewer Line Repair vs. Traditional

Updated: Dec 15, 2025

Purple pulley on a porch pushes new underground pipe through old blue pipes underground, roots shown entangled. Grey house with white trim in background.

"Trenchless" means any plumbing repair or installation is done without diggling large holes to expose the whole pipe.  Advanced equipment allows the contractor to get to the point of repair or installation without creating a large dug up area that will need follow up and repair.

Benefits:

  • Less labor intensive, more cost effective

  • Keep your yard intact, no dug up lawns

  • Perfect for piping in hard to reach areas (under homes/buildings)

Trenchless sewer line repairs can be used to repair a number of plumbing problems, including tree root intrusion, loose joints, severe pipe corrosion, pipe misalignment, severe blockages, pipe leaks, and more.

How trenchless repair works:

  • We dig two holes, at thee start and end of the pipeline

  • We insert a cable into the existing line.

  • The cable is attached to our pulling equipment at one end and the steel-splitting wedge at the other.

  • Our ram pulls the splitting head through your old pipe, breaking it as it pushes through.

  • A new polyethylene pipe is psuhed through the old pipe, and your line is replaced.
